Please select the correct Power adapter by POE device，
802.3af (802.3at Type 1) PoE device, We suggest DC 44V-57V power adapter.
802.3at Type 2 PoE+(plus) device, We suggest DC50V-57V power adapter.
Please refer to the Wikipedia “Power over Ethernet” section, under the “Standard implementation” paragraph.
(Usually for ensure the power supply is stable for a long time. it is recommended not to let the power load exceeds 80% of nominal value. so please choose a more suitable power adapter according to the number of camera you intend to connect and the total power. For example, you intend to connect 6 cameras, while each camera power consumption is 12Watt, the total power consumption is 6×12=72watt. Then select the 96Watt (48V2A) power adapter is enough. if the total power consumption is over 80watt then it is recommended to choose 144W (48V3A) power adapter.)
If your camera is with word “12V/PoE” as this picture shows, then please select 48V Power Adapter, do not select 12V Power Adapter.
Because “12V/PoE” means it can offer power supply to camera via 12V DC port or 48V PoE Ethernet port:

This is an Passive Power Over Ethernet of 8 port 10 / 100Mbps-T Ethernet switches, including 6 unsolicited PoE Ethernet ports and 1 Uplink ports. DC port apply 9~55V power supply adapter(not included), any one of the 6 port can provide output power, each Ethernet port can provide network transmission speeds of up to 10 / 100Mbps , with Cat5 / 5e / 6 network cable.
This POE switch only support 10/100M connection, PoE ports do not support Gigabit ethernet connection, because  “Power Link 3~8” port using 4,5,7,8 pin as power transfer, Please
do not connect any “NONE PoE gigabit ethernet device and Uplink device” on “Power Link 3~8” port, this will damage your device.
